How can I sign up for screening?
Kindergarten Enrollment
Kindergarten screening is held every year in late March. Keep an eye out for the dates and signs posted around school. I will also send home notes with the older students in school and post it on this web site when we set a date for 2010-11 school year.
Kindergarten screening is the date set for you to bring your child in and talk with the teachers about the skills your child personally needs for kindergarten. Your child will be given a screening test and then you will conference with the kindergarten teacher. This is also when you will be given paper work to formally enroll your child in school here at Kingsville. Please bring along the needed information in order to fill out the paper work. This eliminates you having to make a second trip to school.
You will also see information about Kindergarten Round-Up. It is usually scheduled a few weeks before the screening date! I will also post this date. This is a night set aside to answer your questions and concerns about the up coming kindergarten year. You can bring your kindergarten student and let them see what life is like in kindergarten while the adults will meet in a separate room.
