Tomorrow night (Tuesday, March 19) is our first lesson in the Conscious Discipline Parenting Series. We will meet 5:30-6:30 in the library. Conscious Discipline helps parents model and therefore teach emotional management and conflict resolution. It is a way for us to look at discipline as a form of teaching rather than a form of punishment. This week we will focus on the Skill of Composure and the Power of Perception. We will work on living the values we want to instill in our children. We will have a meat and cheese tray and some extra snacks for the kiddos. There will be a high school student to play with the kids in the back room of the library so we can meet as adults. We hope you can join us!
