The Kingsville Lady Tigers softball team is bringing home 3rd place from Santa Fe today! They beat Smithton this morning 18-1 and beat La Monte 10-4 for 3rd. Nice job this weekend, ladies!

Epilepsy Awareness Day is on Tuesday March 26th. The day aims to increase the public's knowledge of a neurological condition affecting nearly 50 million people worldwide. Also known as Purple Day, people are encouraged to wear purple in support of epilepsy awareness. Feel free to join us!

Tomorrow night (Tuesday, March 19) is our first lesson in the Conscious Discipline Parenting Series. We will meet 5:30-6:30 in the library.
Conscious Discipline helps parents model and therefore teach emotional management and conflict resolution. It is a way for us to look at discipline as a form of teaching rather than a form of punishment. This week we will focus on the Skill of Composure and the Power of Perception. We will work on living the values we want to instill in our children.
We will have a meat and cheese tray and some extra snacks for the kiddos. There will be a high school student to play with the kids in the back room of the library so we can meet as adults.
