The Mattress Fundraiser is THIS SATURDAY! Referrals are the key to success, and we need your help to find people who need a mattress to come to the fundraiser this weekend. Please text and email your student’s referral flyer to ALL your contacts! Remember, your student gets credit for every referral – and each student/family in Kingsville Athletics is responsible for at least ONE BED SALE at the event!
If you still haven’t done so, visit the Facebook event page and click INTERESTED or GOING, INVITE your friends, and SHARE all posts this week:

Lindsey Wendte, Lone Jack Athletic Association's secretary, would like our students to have the following information regarding 2nd-6th grade basketball sign ups.
We currently have basketball sign ups open for boys and girls grades 2-7. Parents can sign their students up for basketball at www.Ljathletic.com from now until November 3. They will just go to our website, find the down arrow beside Athletics and choose Basketball. Then there will be a place that says CLICK HERE TO SIGN UP!

Red Ribbon Week, October 23rd-31st is a nationally recognized initiative each fall with an emphasis on prevention education and commitment to living a safe, healthy and drug-free life. Plant the Promise is a wonderful way to celebrate Red Ribbon Week. Students plant red flower bulbs during Red Ribbon Week in the Fall which bloom in the Spring, and serve as a reminder of the importance and the beauty of living a drug-free life and to remind students that what you do now will affect you later. Additionally, it provides a chance to enjoy the outdoors, connect with nature, take a break from daily stress and see the rewards of something beautiful you’ve nurtured.
Kingsville’s Student Council would like to offer the community the opportunity to sponsor each class's “Plant the Promise” supplies. To sponsor, please email Mrs. Loveall the class that you would like to sponsor. Then send $10 to the school, addressed to the Student Council. All sponsors will have a labeled garden plaque outside with our tulips.
We would like to thank you in advance for sponsoring our Plant a Promise activity to make a difference and spread Red Ribbon Weeks message.
Mrs. Loveall’s email address is mloveall@kingsville.k12.mo.us
Sponsorships will be updated as frequently as possible. Thank you for supporting Kingsville Student Council!
