Kindergarten had a great and busy last week of school! From enjoying our favorite brain breaks to sharing slushies from our new slushie machine we had so much fun! We also were still learning as we checked on our sprouting bean seeds and enjoyed reading with our 4th grade friends and learning about plays in 2nd grade!

Mrs. Jester is a dedicated paraprofessional who has faithfully served our school district for many years, bringing endless love, laughter, and support to students and staff alike. Lovingly known by everyone as “Miss April,” she has become a special part of our school family and a familiar face that students know they can count on every single day. 🍎🐾
Our students absolutely adore her. Miss April has a unique ability to connect with children from all walks of life, making them feel seen, valued, and cared for. She serves as a trusted adult that students feel comfortable confiding in, and her caring heart leaves a lasting impact on so many young lives.
At the same time, students respect her for her no-nonsense approach, consistency, and positive spirit. She holds students accountable while always encouraging them to be their best, and she does it all with kindness, humor, and genuine care. Her upbeat attitude and joyful personality help brighten our halls and make our school a better place every day. ❤️
Miss April is also a tremendous support to our teachers and staff. Her willingness to jump in wherever needed, offer encouragement, and build relationships with others does not go unnoticed. She truly embodies what it means to serve students with both compassion and dedication.

The Holden ScrapHeads Robotics team would like to invite anyone that will be in 3rd-6th grade in the fall to participate in their summer camp! We love to meet you and share our robot and team. During the week your team will build your own robot, learn to program it, drive it, and build teamwork. On the last day teams will compete in a set of real robotics matches just like the ScrapHeads do when they go to meets! Can't wait to see you there!
