Good morning Kingsville families,
I received the following information from Shannon Milbourn with the Kansas City Metro Challenger Football League.
Our mission is to provide children and young adults with special needs a safe, fun, and inclusive opportunity to play football.
We are an organized flag football league for boys and girls ages 5 and up. We play both in the fall and spring, with open enrollment year-round, and we welcome players from across the entire Kansas City Metro area. There are no fees, no equipment purchases, and no restrictions—if families are willing to travel to the Heritage Park Football Complex, we will ensure their child has a wonderful experience on the field.
You can learn more, register online, and view schedules on our website: www.kcmetrochallenger.org. I have also included our official flyer for you to share with parents. Additionally, we have a short video showcasing the league, which you can view on YouTube here: Watch Video. If you would prefer a DVD copy, I would be happy to send one.
If you know of children or families in your school community who may benefit from this program, I would greatly appreciate your help in passing along this information. Please feel free to reach out to me directly with any questions.
Thank you for your time and support in helping us provide this unique opportunity for kids with special needs.
Please share this information with any families that might benefit from the program. Thank you all!
Amanda Schoenherr

Over the last few weeks, 2nd grade completed pumpkin investigations! They had a blast combining science and math together! We even tried some different variations of pumpkin treats! Some were a hit, and some were not so much.

Elementary Fall Party!

October Elementary Student of the Month Assembly

Kindergarten would like to thank Carol Link (and family) for sharing pumpkins with us. This week, our students used their scientific skills to investigate their pumpkins, size, shape, color, and weight. We also wrote about our pumpkins. Lastly, we carved and counted the seeds. We found that pumpkins have lots of seeds... and are very messy... but we had so much fun 😀

🎃🕺 DANCE PARTY!! 🎃🕺

Kindergarten had a great time with their annual costume parade!

Parents as Teachers Playgroup is tomorrow (October 30th) at 9:00am. We hope to see you there!
