Kingsville Cheer girls did our Tigers proud this past week! Individually 7 girls got nominated for All American: Ally Sosa, Emma Kennedy, Presley Hall, Hailey Ory, Kinley Provolt, Hayden Kee and Charlotte Kennedy Ally Sosa, Kenzie West, Hayden Kee, and Charlotte Kennedy were also pinned by other cheer squads and recognized by NCA staff with Leadership Awards! As a team we came home with 3 ribbons: 2 Superior and 1 Excellent On competition day the squad was awarded a Stay Safe Award for safe stunting, Trophy for Most Improved Squad, 1st place for game day cheer, and we won the Spirit Stick! It was an honor representing the Tiger’s at NCA, and we are excited to show you all the new material we will be bringing home for the season!

With his passion for education and commitment to excellence, he'll be an incredible asset to our students, staff, and community. 🙌📚 💬 A Message from Mr. Polson: I am incredibly excited to begin my journey as the new Athletic and Activities Director at Kingsville R-1. My passion for education, athletics, and student development has been shaped by nearly a decade of coaching and teaching experience at various levels, most recently serving as the Defensive Coordinator at Lone Jack High School and previously as the Strength and Conditioning Coach at William Chrisman High School. I hold a Master’s degree in Athletic Administration from William Woods University and a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education with a minor in coaching from the College of the Ozarks. Outside of school, I am blessed to share life with my wife, Savannah, whom I’ve been married to for six wonderful years. When I’m not on the field or in the gym, you can usually find me enjoying the outdoors, fishing or hiking, playing a few rounds of billiards, or feeding my latest hobby—golf. I am eager to bring my energy, leadership, and passion for student success to our school community. Go Tigers! Thank you to F&C Bank of Holden for their donation to our school! For their part in our Career Day they won a contest with the Missouri Bankers Association for $250, and they matched the donation for a total of $500! The donation will go towards Career Day next year and other community outreach and involvement activities.
