Back to school event by Covenant Church in Holden!
At last night’s school board meeting we recognized our 2026 Lady Tiger Softball team for their successful season and runner-up finish in the state tournament. State Representative Roger Reedy presented a resolution to the team to celebrate their achievements, and the following student-athletes were recognized for achieving post-season honors: Kylie Stout - All-District, Brooklin Dykzeul - All-District and All-Region, Jovie Scrutchfield - All-District, All-Region, and All-State, and Kinsey Scrutchfield - All-District, All-Region, and All-State. Congratulations again ladies! We are so proud of you.
Some of our very own Kingsville kids worked on teamwork and leadership skills as they participated in the ScrapHeads Summer Robotics camp! They designed, built and programmed their own robots with the help of ScrapHeads mentors. They also participated in a real robotics competition! GREAT WORK TIGERS!!
Matthew Bush, Hunter Heinrichs, Wade Kennedy, Jackson Wilkins, Miranda Bush, Charlotte Loveall and Mrs. Groves were all part of the crew!

Kindergarten had a great and busy last week of school! From enjoying our favorite brain breaks to sharing slushies from our new slushie machine we had so much fun! We also were still learning as we checked on our sprouting bean seeds and enjoyed reading with our 4th grade friends and learning about plays in 2nd grade!

Our students absolutely adore her. Miss April has a unique ability to connect with children from all walks of life, making them feel seen, valued, and cared for. She serves as a trusted adult that students feel comfortable confiding in, and her caring heart leaves a lasting impact on so many young lives.
At the same time, students respect her for her no-nonsense approach, consistency, and positive spirit. She holds students accountable while always encouraging them to be their best, and she does it all with kindness, humor, and genuine care. Her upbeat attitude and joyful personality help brighten our halls and make our school a better place every day. ❤️
Miss April is also a tremendous support to our teachers and staff. Her willingness to jump in wherever needed, offer encouragement, and build relationships with others does not go unnoticed. She truly embodies what it means to serve students with both compassion and dedication.
