Think Before You Post is headed to Kingsville, Missouri, for a student assembly at 9 a.m. on October 1.
Chet Kuplen, founder of Think Before You Post, will speak with students about navigating today’s rapidly changing digital world.
Since launching in 2019, Think Before You Post has reached more than 900 schools, conferences and organizations across multiple states. The program continues to evolve as technology, social media and the challenges facing students rapidly change.
Think Before You Post addresses real-world issues students encounter every day, including digital citizenship, online reputation, cyberbullying, artificial intelligence, social media, group chats, screenshots, fake accounts, online safety, mental health, responsible decision-making and the long-term impact of what we post and share online.
“Technology is changing incredibly fast, and what students are dealing with online today looks completely different than it did even a few years ago,” Kuplen said. “Our goal with Think Before You Post is to meet students where they are. We talk about the mistakes that can create serious consequences, but we also want students to understand the positive side of technology and how they can use these platforms to build their reputation, create opportunities and do something meaningful.”
The presentation will focus on making smart decisions involving phones, social media, gaming, messaging and other technology while helping students understand that something happening online can quickly become a real-world issue.
Think Before You Post isn’t built around simply telling young people to put their phones down or stay off social media. The program emphasizes responsibility, awareness and understanding the tremendous power, both positive and negative, that comes with having access to an audience at your fingertips.
“One post, one screenshot, one message or one decision can travel much farther than a student/anyone ever intended,” Kuplen said. “But that same technology can also create opportunities, build relationships and allow young people to do incredible things. We want students to understand both sides of it and hopefully think one more time before they hit post, like or share.”
Kuplen was recognized by Ingram’s as one of the “50 Kansans You Should Know” and is also the founder and CEO of Sports in Kansas and Schools in Kansas. Think Before You Post has grown into its own multistate educational program since its launch in 2019.
We’re excited to bring Think Before You Post to Kingsville at 9 a.m. on October 1 and spend the morning working with students and educators.
The Think Before You Post tour is currently booking schools, conferences, businesses and keynote presentations for the 2026–27 school year.

The elementary has completed their first "Constellation of Kindness". Ursa Major is filled with kind and caring actions by our students. There are 88 officially recognized constellations, let's see how many constellations we can fill this year!

On Thursday Sophomores made marshmallow tripods to demonstrate the relationships between points, lines, and planes.

Kindergarten had been working hard to learn rules and routine at Motor Lab! Today..catch cups! Lots of focus and perseverance learned today too!

🌲 Outdoor Adventures: Building Teamwork & Leadership! 🌲
Our Outdoor Adventures class has been having a lot of fun while learning some very important life skills! Over the past few days, students have participated in a variety of activities designed to strengthen teamwork, communication, problem-solving, and leadership.
🎲 We played board games that challenged students to work together and communicate.
🎭 We put our communication skills to the test with charades.
🔎 Students worked as a team to identify changes made around the classroom.
🙈 We completed a blindfolded teamwork challenge that required trust and clear communication.
🎒 And today, we had a Show & Tell that gave students an opportunity to share, listen, and learn more about one another!
It has been great watching students encourage each other, step into leadership roles, solve problems together, and learn what it means to be a good teammate.
Outdoor adventures are about more than just being outside—they require trust, leadership, communication, cooperation, and teamwork. These are skills our students can carry with them for a lifetime! 🌲🥾🏕️
