Parents! Register your middle and high school daughters for SkillQUEST at Science City! It's a not-to-be-missed evening of science and engineering fun, learning valuable skills from local STEM professionals and participating in hands-on and interactive activities! Participating girls will spend the evening exploring Science City, collecting passport stamps in a travel guide along the way as they learn valuable science and engineering skills. In addition to free exploration, attendees will travel through Science City, completing tasks and visiting partnering organization stations to complete activities. A stamp is earned when activities are completed, and a full Travel Guide will earn them a gift and enter them for a chance to win a grand prize! SkillQUEST takes place on Friday, July 19, from 6:00pm-9:00pm. Registration is just $10 >> https://bit.ly/SKILLQuest Registration closes July 12, but spaces are limited, so register early. Adult chaperones are also welcome to register. SkillQUEST is sponsored by Skill Builders Fund and supported by community partners, including MRI Global, Bayer, KU Medical Center, Missouri Wing Civil Air Patrol, Society of Women Engineers, CoolScience, and Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks.

Attached is information regarding Kansas City Metro Challenger Football league. It is an organized flag football league for boys and girls ages 5 and up who have special needs. They play in the fall and spring with open enrollment throughout the year. They welcome players from all over the Kansas City Metro area and they will accommodate anyone who wants to play. There is no fee to play or equipment to buy. As long as the parents are willing to travel to the Heritage Park Football Complex, they will give them a wonderful and safe place to play football.
Please check out the website: www.kcmetrochallenger.org to register online, see league details, game schedules, and find contact information.
Feel free to pass along this information

We will have weights tomorrow morning (Memorial Day). First session is 6:00-6:45, and second session is 7:00-8:00. Come start your week off right in the weight room!

Good morning,
The Booster Club is excited to be able to work the All Star Fireworks stand as a fundraiser for this upcoming year.
Please let Sarah Evinger (colazz@yahoo.com) know if you have any questions. The link to the sign up is below.
All the Booster Club is asking is that they have 1 adult (18 years of age) on each shift, except the evenings and weekend they would appreciate 2 if possible. This was a wonderful fundraiser for them last year and they look forward to this coming season. There is very minimal effort as far as running the register, and you will only be responsible for keeping the store neat and tidy otherwise. The teenagers have a blast helping out so feel free to bring them along.
