This policy covers a wide range of devices:

🎮 Gaming Devices
👓 Meta/AI Glasses
🎧 Earbuds/Headphones
✅ Exceptions: IEP, Section 504 Plan, Health Care Plans, ADA, Rehabilitation Act,
Civil Rights Act, Equal Educational Opportunities Act.
If you require electronic devices for specific accommodations outlined in the plans/acts listed,
exceptions will be made. Please ensure proper documentation is provided and approved by the
school administration.

Attention Tiger families - In accordance with the newly passed Missouri Senate Bill 68, there will be a new cell phone policy commencing with the 2025-2026 school year.
Cell phone use will be prohibited during the entire school day, including lunch and passing periods.
This is a statewide legislation that is being implemented in all Missouri public schools.
Senate Bill 68 prohibits student personal communication device use during the school day. Phones, earbuds, and smartwatches are all prohibited. From 7:30 am - 3:15 pm, students must have their cell phones powered down and put away.
Electronic Personal Communication Device Violations:
First Offense: Principal/student conference, confiscation, parent contact, and lunch detention
Second Offense: Principal/student conference, confiscation, parent contact, lunch detention, and before or after school detention
Third Offense: Principal/student conference, confiscation, parent contact, and 1 day of ISS
This law aims to reduce student distractions and improve student engagement.
Parents, please talk to your child specially about these new expectations.
