We are looking for volunteers to lead sessions in art, music, dance, fiber arts, practical arts, etc.
You can teach your amazing skill or help students explore new skills that we plan (no expertise needed.)

🌸 Spring Party Sign-Up 🌸
Date: Wednesday, February 12th
Time: 1:00 PM
Location: Kingsville Elementary
We are excited to celebrate spring with our students! To make this party a success, we need parent volunteers. Please select one way you’d like to help.

How to participate (Super easy!)
Locate the Big Smiles form sent home with your student. Need a new one? Call or email Nurse Anna or have your child ask us for another one !
OR
Follow our participating link: go to https://www.myschooldentist.com ( CLICK : PARENTS SIGN UP YOUR CHILD) You will then be able to look for Kingsville School District and sign them up under Kingsville school district. FAST & EASY OPTION - CAN DO ON YOUR PHONE/COMPUTER!
Common questions or concerns:
“ We already have a dentist , so my child doesn't need this”
Answer: That's fine! No one likes to have to schedule a day off or have to wait to schedule a dentist appointment for “no school” days ! That's why this service is so cool- The student gets to stay in school and parents/guardians do not have to miss a day of work!
“We have Medicaid/we do not currently have dental coverage”
Answer: This service is 100% covered by Medicaid or state CHIP Programs ( most services) NO child is LEFT UNSEEN due to inability to pay - if this is the case- it is possible that exam/treatment/cleaning can be free of charge (***please call or email to discuss this***)
“Will private insurances be accepted ?”
Answer- YEP! All insurances are 100% covered
“I have a child that is not in school yet- can they participate?”
Answer- ABSOLUTELY! Siblings of Kingsville School Students can be brought in to participate on this day as long as they are at least 18 months old. SERVICES AGES 18 MONTHS - 18 YEARS OLD

Yesterday we wrapped up (literally 😉) our 2nd Annual Book Blast, and what an incredible day it was! This event continues to be such a fun and memorable experience for both students and staff.
✨ Here’s what YOU helped make possible:
📦 Over 500 books delivered to our school
📖 Every Kindergarten–6th grade student received at least TWO books
🛍️ More than $407 in shopping sprees for books and classroom supplies

The Kingsville R-1 Board of Education encourages qualified persons interested in running for a position on the School Board to file to be a candidate in the April 7, 2026 election. Interested persons may file at the front office located at 101 East Adriatic, Kingsville MO 64061.
The filing begins on Tuesday, December 9th at 8:00am and closes on Tuesday, December 30th at 5:00pm.
Candidates may file on the following dates/times:
December 9th through 12th from 8:00am-3:30pm
December 15th through 18th from 8:00am-3:30pm
December 19th, 22nd, 23rd, and 29th from 8:00am-12:20pm
December 30th from 3:00pm-5:00pm
Except for the first and last day of filing, filing will not occur on days that the school is closed due to inclement weather.
Ballot placement will be determined by: “the names of qualified candidates being placed on the ballot in order of filing.” An election will not be called for if the District has an equal number of candidates and openings.
There are three (3) positions available with three-year terms.

Our junior high and high school band students knocked it out of the park Monday night with an incredible concert! From start to finish, their hard work, dedication, and talent were on full display, and we couldn’t be more proud.
A huge thank you to our amazing band director, Mr. Joey Hanes, for preparing our students so well, and to our families and community for showing up to support the arts. Nights like this remind us how special our music program truly is! 🎺🥁🎷
